Sitting at 2,100m, below the breathtaking Matterhorn and overlooking the exclusive ski resort of Cervinia in Italy, La Fenice is one of the finest private chalets in the Alps. The historic building has been completely reconstructed by its current British owners, protecting the heritage of the chalet while creating a new, luxurious destination for fun-loving, adventurous guests.

Managerial Roles

The General Manager, supported by the Manager, runs the show. This includes ensuring that every aspect of the chalet operation runs smoothly, as well as managing each member of the chalet team.

Front of House

This key customer-facing role is the first point of contact for guests. With responsibility for creating an unforgettable holiday experience, this role deals with all logistics, from ski hire and tuition, to restaurant bookings, transfers, bedroom set-up or in-house spa experiences.

Maintenance and Driving Services

With day-to-day responsibility for the smooth maintenance of the property, this role covers plumbing, electrical work, vehicle maintenance, snow-clearing, as well as driving our guests in the local area and on transfers.

Housekeeping and Client Care

This role is vital in ensuring that our beautiful chalet and guest rooms are kept spotlessly clean and tidy, offering five-star evening turnovers, laundry, breakfast and evening table service and some shopping.

The Kitchen

We are proud of our exceptional culinary offering, which makes our kitchen team so vital to our operation. Our Head chef, Sous-chef and Commis chef oversee everything from procurement to creating tailor-made menus, always with exemplary attention to detail, cleanliness and budget.
